Having risen through the ranks at several of the industry’s leading consultancies and worked in-house he has unique insights into every aspect of public relations in order to provide clients with relevant expert counsel. He started his career in London at Miller Shandwick, the no. 1 technology agency at the time, rising to the practice board. Cairbre was also Managing Director of Edelman’s Technology Practice, the current number one technology consultancy, before becoming the General Manager and Vice President of Waggener Edstrom London.
Throughout Cairbre’s career he has worked with a wide variety of the world’s leading technology and B2B brands, including Intel, Hewlett Packard, Orange France Telecom, Oracle Corporation, SAP, Autonomy, FedEx Express, AVG and Xerox. He has provided counsel and strategy on the broad range of internal and external communications challenges companies face. His areas of expertise include executive coaching and communications programmes, brand positioning and corporate storytelling, thought leadership & demand generation campaigns, integrated communications strategies, crisis communications, change management & internal communications and international communications strategies.
While at Weber Shandwick Cairbre worked in Silicon Valley for Hewlett-Packard overseeing global communications programmes for one of its divisions and supporting major global tradeshows. Following Weber Shandwick he was Senior Director, Corporate Communications for Oracle Corporation’s UK, Ireland & South Africa operation. During his tenure he developed award winning sales and marketing programmes, shaped internal communications strategies to support Oracle’s acquisition strategy and design an employee engagement programme for the EMEA organisation’s change management initiative.
